DESCRIPTION:WE COULD USE YOUR HELP: \nThe CPC/PI Committee in Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) works to provide accurate information about AA to professionals and the public. CPC members inform professionals who have contact with alcoholics through their work\, such as healthcare providers\, educators\, clergy\, and social workers\, about AA’s services and limitations. They aim to improve communication between AA and these professionals and find ways to cooperate without affiliating with them.124 \nPI committees\, on the other hand\, focus on sharing AA information with the public when requested. They visit schools\, businesses\, and community meetings to provide information and serve as resources for the local media\, emphasizing AA’s traditions of anonymity\, singleness of purpose\, and non-affiliation.35 \nBoth CPC and PI committees offer training for AA members to speak at non-AA meetings and provide materials for professionals and the media. \nACTUAL MEETING TIME IS 5:15 pm
